Post-Operative Care for Costmetic Surgery

If you’re planning to have cosmetic surgery, you’ve probably done lots of research finding the right doctor, understanding the procedure and gathering all the information to make an informed decision. But have you thought about what happens after the surgery?

Your Cosmetic Surgeon should inform you about what to expect after the procedure, including normal recovery time, so that you can plan your post or after care.

That’s when patients turn to American In-Home Care to match them with the right care provider. The care provider we refer can assist patients recovering from cosmetic surgery with activities of daily living, such as:

  • Bathing
  • Dressing
  • Toileting
  • Transferring
  • Ambulating (walking)
  • Continence care and feeding (as needed by the patient and recommended by their physician)
  • Medication reminders
  • Run errands
  • Light housekeeping
  • Accompany to doctor’s appointments
  • Monitor for gross behavioral changes
  • Help to maintain safety
  • Passive exercises
  • Skilled nursing (RNs and LPNs only)
